In what age does puberty generally start?

This is variable.: It is unclear but the pt appears to be male. The average time of appearance of secondary sexual characteristics is about age 10 to 13. This can be delayed some but not much after 13. If voice deepening, facial hair growth or genital enlargement has not appeared by age 18 the pt should be checked out by endocrinologist.

Puberty: In girls it starts between age 11-13 and it boys it starts a bit later between 13-14 years of age
