Irregular Period: Hi, although a lot women get irregular period of some sort from time to time but you could go for an evaluation to check ur Thyroid and other hormones and also a pelvic exam. Diarrhea and cramp are normal with menstural period and is due to the hormone progesterone which relaxes the gut muscles.
