Does st. john's wort interfere with birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None significant: There is no significant interaction between st. John's wort (has similar properties to zoloft/paxil/prozac etc..) and contraceptive pills...And these combos have been in use safely. I am not sure why you are using st. John's wort, but i hope for right reason and that it is helping you. Make sure you let your doc know about all meds/supplements you are using..Good luck.
