Yes: sometimes if you are smoking a cigar and suck too hard you can become lightheaded as well as the nicotine in the cigar is more and will cause you to be light headed or spaced out So the best policy is not to smoke

However if you feel that the mental status changes are beyond normal then you should make sure that the cigar you smoked does not have any additional narcotic ingredients.
