It doesn't: Clomid (clomiphene) does not affect egg quality. It is designed to stimulate the release of lh and FSH from the pituitary gland in the brain - these hormones in turn stimulate a follicle (or more than one follicle) to develop. Follicles are structures in the ovaries and they contain the eggs that are supposed to go on to ovulate.
