May not be infection: Most sinus drainage is not bacterial and will not improve with antibiotics. Most sinus drainage is from cold viruses or allergy. You can clean out your sinuses with a few days of generic Afrin nasal spray, a couple weeks using a saline sinus wash kit, and a month or so of triamcinonlone nasal steroid spray.
