Possibly.: If you have a perfect 28-day cycle, then ovulation should have occurred on 8/2. If you got pregnant, then implantation would then have occurred 8/9. To verify, you can get a home pregnancy test done on 8/16 or after. One day of spotting is not likely due to an STD. Good luck!

Could be: Any time you have unprotected sex and are fertile you can get pregnant. Spotting can occur either way. Check a pregnancy test and follow the instructions. If negative one week after spotting or missed period see your doc for a blood test for pregnancy and check for STD's. Till certain, assume you could be pregnant, and don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, or take over the counter medications.

Possibly: Gloria, you had intercourse at the right time in your cycle, and your spotting could be implantation bleeding. If you think you might be pregnant, take a urine pregnancy test. Hope this helps!
