Did you test?: if you are sexually active you need a pregnancy test; if not, you can wait and see if your period starts.

Pregnancy: Pregnancy can occur if you had unprotected sex. The over the counter pregnancy tests are very sensitive and may be positive within 5-7 days after a missed period. However, they are not foolproof. And your period may not come exactly on the day you expect it every month. Illness, stress, fatigue can all cause a slight irregularity in your cycle. Get a blood test if no period in the next week.
