Fibromyalgia: Hi, as pain as it is, Fibromyalgia doesn't cause any mortality and morbidity, which it means patients don't die from it and they don't develop any complications. But if you are talking about polymalgia rheumatica then the story is different.

Very unlikely: Fibromyalgia is extremely unlikely to cause blindness. Dry eyes is one of the most common symptoms but unless severe and untreated won't lead to blindness.

No known connection: Fibromyalgia specifically causes generalized muscle pain and fatigue. There is not an association between loss of visual ability or blindness and fibromyalgia. There are many different medications used to treat fibromyalgia and none cause blindness. Blindness, if temporary is more likely to be related to migraine. This is something else. If the vision loss in in one eye or just started dial 911.

IT DOESN'T: FIBROMYALGIA DOES NOT CAUSE BLINDNESS. IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH MUSCLE ACHES, TRIGGER POINTS, LACK OF SLEEP AND DEPRESSION. FIBROMYALGIA CAN BE RELIEVED WITH EXERCISE. ACUTE BLINDNESS CAN BE A SIGN OUT MINISTROKES, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, ARTERITIS, AND RETINAL DETACHMENT, ACUTE ANGLE CLOSURE GLAUCOMA ALSO CAN CAUSE IT. IF YOU HAVE RAPID LOSS OF EYESIGHT I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO TO THE ER.
