I don't take my microgestin fe pill at the same time everyday. i take it between 10 pm - midnight. am i still protected with this two hour time span?

Yes: Microgestin Fe is a combination pill so as long as you take it everyday, you're fine, although I wouldn't suggest 11:59PM then 2 minutes later at 12:01AM. Check out http://plannedparenthood.tumblr.com/post/23827960518/timing-of-birth-control-pills. Progestin-only pills have a much narrower 3hr leeway.
