Herpes: Usually it is ok. Herpes is spread by direct contact. I am assuming you mean genital herpes, so sex would be the way to pass it to someone else. IF you mean Herpes 1 or cold sore herpes and you are visiting someone with a poor immunity, just don't kiss them if you have a cold sore or cold sore symptoms. Herpes is not spread like a cold virus

Yes, but I recommend: that you see your primary doctor if possible. If you are in a lot of pain or have fever, then seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Most urgent care centers can evaluate and treat herpes infections.
