Withdrawal syndrome: Dependence is a physical response to lack of a medication. Most chronic opioid consumers will develop tolerance to the medication and withdrawal symptoms when stopped. Nausea, vomiting, anxiety, restlessness, goosebumps, diarrhea, sweating, big pupils, muscle aches, head aches, are fairly common.
