How to know if the baby inside is alive or dead?

Ultrasound/doppler: Those 2 modalities could detect the babies heart beat and tell for sure. Also if u could feel the baby already u could count the number of kicks or movement and tell how active the baby is

Ultrasound: Depending on how far along one is in pregnancy an ultrasound can be very helpful to determine if the fetus is living
