I was prescribed to take 20mg prednisone -3pills daily for jaw pain. do i take them all at once or spread out? and there is no "tapering" off .

Can do either: You can take 60mg of prednisone all at once or divide it 20mg three times a day. However, you should take it with food, as prednisone can upset your stomach. If it does, then divide dose. Recent evidence states that you do not need to taper prednisone if given for less than 1-2 weeks.

Ask your doctor: I would think separately taking only one pill three times a day. You should call either your doctor's office or the pharmacy where you had your prescription filled.
