Not normal: Clearly, you shouldn't have multiple persistent lumps in your armpit.. If there's pus, there's almost always infection that should be treated. Your doctor needs to determine whether it's a simple bacterial infection in the form of a boil or a more complicated problem called Hidradenitis suppurativa, In spite of its ominous sounding name, hydradenitis is manageable and doesn't spread.
