A member asked:

I had my period a week ago and i am still bleeding a little bit, as spots. i am on the pill. what could this mean? could i be pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oral contraceptives: Birth control medications can cause a change in the quality and quantity of menstrual bleeding especially at the start of intake or if a recent change in brand was done or if doses were missed. Pregnancy is less likely but if there is a concern, please check a pregnancy test.
