Baby's activities: Depending on the age, when your baby is crawling or cruising or walking, you need to get down at his/her level to a)remove any sharp objects b) put kindergaard locks on cabinets c) gates on stairways d) avoid baby walkers e) remove beakables and precious items & f) be present, be present, be present. Distraction often works when your child is "on a mission" to get into trouble.

Everything!: Babies get into everything you can imagine- make sure you babyproof by getting to the baby's level (yes, that means crawling around your house!) and seeing what they could possibly get into. As a minimum- cover outlets, lock up cleaning solutions/medicines, put gates on stairs and around fireplace and take fragile objects (including pants in pots) away from baby's reach.
