Breastfeeding: It is not uncommon to have irregular periods when breastfeeding. One can experience lighter bleeding or skipped periods altogether. The likelihood of getting pregnant is low, however, people do still get pregnant during this time period. Exercise caution if you do not plan on getting pregnant soon.
