May be other reasons: Other reasons may exist. Some women have endometriosis, a condition where tissue from the uterine lining grows in other parts of the pelvis, causing pain with menses and other parts of the cycle. Sometimes an STD if untreated can cause scarring and pain. Sometimes GI issues are to blame. Recommend seeing your GYN.
