Inflammation: You left a number of important details out in your question. (1) When and how did the tooth break? (2)When did you notice these new symptoms? (3)Did you notice the fever at the same time? (4) Where is your skin red? What you're describing could be the early signs of infection in the tooth. If you start developing pain, swelling or redness around that area, you should seek medical/dental care

Nerve: It sounds like the broken tooth has a nerve that is inflamed, probably irreversibly and you need to have this tooth evaluated for a possible Root Canal Therapy assuming there is enough of a tooth to salvage long term. Please don't wait until you have severe pain and swelling after normal office hours when even a strong pain killer will be insufficient to keep you comfortable.

Why are you waiting?: In your last post you were anxious about possibly having an infection... the longer you wait the better the chance you will. Please call a dentist ASAP
