A member asked:

If the contraceptive patch is changed in between date, which day is then considered as the day for the next patch to be changed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

7 days: Each patch is intended for 7 days, and if one falls off early, a new one can be applied, and that should have sufficient hormone for 7 days. In total, you should have continuous patch application for 20-21 days before your 7 day break for menses to maintain ideal contraception and regular menses.
