Engorged penis vein: Pediatric penile pain is a common complaint, and in most cases is UTI, meatal stenosis, trauma, bladder distention. If the pain is associated with a prologed erection (I'm aware he is 6 y/o) take him to the ER right away. If the pain has just started, and not associated with erection, arrange for him to have ASAP a Doppler ultrasonography of the penis, to evaluate the cavernosal artery flow.
