Breakthrough bleed: Breakthrough bleeding, no period, and spotting are common side effects of DepoProvera, amongst many others. Heavy bleeding can lead to anemia, dizziness, shortness of breath. Increase your fluid intake and notify your doctor of your symptoms if you are still bleeding in another week.
