All supportive care: If you do have HFM disease, it's all supportive care. Pain meds (Tylenol/Motrin),plenty of fluids & what you are already doing. Sometimes Maalox can help with the pain if you hold it on the back of your throat. Popsicles and other cold liquids can help. If bad enough, there are prescriptions that your MD can phone in as well.
