Does peyronie's disease plaque always have to be on the top of shaft even if the damaged area is on the right?

Dr. James Lin answered

On the same side ...: Although the location of the plaque of Peyronie's disease is more commonly on the dorsal (top) aspect of the penis, it can be at any location of corpora cavernosa (the paired sponge body chiefly responsible for erection) and restricts the expansion and extension of these corporeal body resulting in penile curvature at erection. So, the side of paque is the same as the penile curvature points to.
