Yes: You can take Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to stop heavy bleeding. It is best however to find out the cause of heavy bleeding. you may be pregnant and miscarrying. Provera (medroxyprogesterone) does not work on pregnant women bleeding from a miscarriage. Please see a doctor.
