I have a raised red line on my scalp that itches really bad. could it be worms?

Not likely: If it's a raised line in a rough circle, with some clearing and loss of hair in the middle, then it could be 'ringworm,' which isn't actually a worm but a fungus. Worms under the skin are possible but are typically a third-world issue. Could also be contact dermatitis/allergy or another kind of infection like staph. See your doctor to help define what it is.
