Technically, no.: a period is a sloughing of the lining of your uterus when you do not become pregnant. so technically, if you have a period, you are not pregnant. you can, however, have vaginal bleeding while pregnant... while never normal, it is not uncommon. the first thing to do is purchase a (very inexpensive) pregnancy test at the store. if it is positive, see your doctor for further evaluation.
