Late puberty: The most common cause in girls is constitutional delay ie fairly normal late growth and puberty. One can obtain a bone age x-ray to check. There are rare conditions which can lead to this. They include hypothyroidism, pituitary disorders, chromosomal or genetic abnormalities and ovarian disorders. See a board-cartified pediatric endocrinologist. Find one at abp.Org.
