Excellent wound care: Good home remedy of a scar begns with excellent and meticulous care of the initial wound causing the scar. In general. Clean, moist wounds whose edges are well approximated under minimal tension will tend to produce optimal scarring. Gentle cleansing of a contaminated wound with subsequent moist dressings will general produce the least prominent scar. Scar massage/pressure/occlusion may help.
