Irregular cycles: Your period can be irregular for many reasons. Sometimes there are other medical problems. Sometimes it's just a function of young age. Sometimes there are hormonal problems. If you do not resume a normal menstrual pattern, you should see your doctor about this. In the teenage years, some cycle irregularity can be normal.
