Dr Anissian is right: It's true that there's no interaction of alcohol & penicillin which is dangerous or causes secondary reactions that pose health risks and are mortal. HOWEVER, it's true that alcohol can inactivate penicillin's antibiotic power by making it less effective against microbes.Ergo, in that regard you may be exposed to possible bad effects due to prolonged period of infection and the stress that causes.
