I just took a pregnancy test and one line is dark but the other is very light (very) what could that mean?

The test is positive: It sounds like the test is positive. You may repeat the test using a first urine sample in the morning to avoid dilution, repeat it in 1 week or have your doctor do a blood test. Note: The test is read as either positive (2 lines) or negative (one line - control line). If the level of pregnancy hormone in urine is low you may get a 'light' line.
