Sour taste in mouth: Likely is gastric reflux which is exacerbated by fatty foods ( red meat), caffeine, carbonated beverages, spicy food, chocolate ,alcohol, smoking, pregnancy. Sometimes H pylori infection is associated. Consider a trial of Protonix, (pantoprazole) trigger avoidance, head of bed elevated so no reflux when sleeping. Other causes gallbladder , thyroid, rare conditions.See a doctor. If fever, pain go to ER

Reflux: sounds like you may have GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Recommend trying antacids (tums) or over the counter prilosec. avoid drinking alcohol or eating spicy foods. Avoid eating before sleep
