Yes.: Yes it is recommended that patients taking pylera are also on omeprazole. If this is not a combination you can tolerate let your doctor know and he/she can prescribe you an alternative therapy.

One of the two antibiotics in Pylera is more likely to make you feel ill than omeprazole. Many people don't know that you should eat 30 minutes before taking omeprazole - the medication works by turning off acid pumps and eating first helps turn the medication do its job.
