Need More details: If you were on BCPs, then you had protected sex from pregnancy and not from sexually transmitted infections. Some irregular bleeding is common with birth control pills specially if you missed the pill or you take it at different times every day. If you have missed a pill then please do a pregnancy test. If you wish to be checked for infections, then see a doctor.
