Time for date night: The fertility test checks your level of LH, which rises 24-36 hours before you ovulate. It is working correctly if it went from low fertility to peak in one day- this is indeed a peak (not a slow rise) in hormone, telling your body to release an egg. LH should not peak in pregnancy and your tests have been negative, so you are not pregnant. To get pregnant, have intercourse within next few days
