Several Options: Right-sided low back pain is commonly the result of kidney stones or infection, or musculoskeletal strain. In women there are gynecological considerations as well. Back pain: Some causes are low back strain, arthritis, osteoporosis, disc problems, spinal growths, etc. Kidney causes are less likely. See an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and treatment which could include physical therapy and/or antiinflammatory medications or muscle relaxants.
