It depends: Restoration of fertility after stopping Depo-Provera shots typically range from 12-18 months. Even though menstrual bleeding may occur, this does not necessarily mean fertility is restored yet. The bleeding may be due to sloughing of the uterine lining from hormonal withdrawal. Be patient and keep trying.
