A year is just a day: A year is just a day in Cancerland. If that thing gets bigger, changes in shape or color or gets bumpy, head straight for your doctor! OK, now that I've alerted you, don't sweat too much, it's probably OK. But probably's not good enough. Keep an eye on it.

See doctor: It is probably a benign lesion, but when you develop a new pigmented lesion anywhere on the body it is concerning. You should have you doctor look at the spot to decide if it is alright to just watch it for changes or if it needs a biopsy or removal now.
