Butt bumps: It can be a folliculitis which is an infection of the hair follicles. Common in the summer and from hot tubs. Could also be a kind of heat rash. If they last more than a few more days, they should be looked at or if they are now painful or warm to touch.

Cause depends: A rash can have many causes, some minor, some more serious With any new rash there's possibility of a reaction to a new medication. A new soap, detergent, lotion can cause it, especially if it is an area covered by tight-fitting clothes. It also depends on the color, size of the bumps, if they hurt or itch & if there are any other symptoms, like fever, sore throat. See doctor if it persists.
