Hard to say: Menstrual cycles are sensitive to all sorts of emotional and physical factors. It may be that your cycle in just shifting. You may want to consider any changes in diet, exercise, or new medications that could cause this. However, emotional distress can also have an impact. If you broke up with a boyfriend 8 months ago and are still recovering emotionally, that could be a factor as well.
