GU discomfort: Sorry to hear about these symptoms. I would want to know more -such as the timing/onset of symptoms. Diabetes can cause longer term problems such as neuropathies, or 'nerve damage' but it sounds like you're doing your best to control it. I would be worried if this is of a sudden onset of such as with shingles or even herpes which can break out -initially with burning type symptoms. Hope u get help
