I took 800mg of docusate sod. did i take to much? what will happen ?

Docusate Dose: You took about four times the normal dose of a stool softener. Don't worry too much. What most people do not realize is that docusate I not a laxative. It only softens the stool which generally means less straining. You will have very soft stools for a day or two; perhaps some extra bowel movements. However, I don't expect this to be a serious situation. Stay near a bathroom.

Too much: You did take much.. Likely to have loose stools... Nothing life threatening!!!
