Vaginal bleeding: The lining of the vagina can easily bleed if scratched. Scratching inside the vagina with fingernails would not be enough to cause serious damage. Light bleeding will eventually stop. If the bleeding goes on for days it may require an examination to get it stopped. Heavy bleeding with passage of clots would require an exam very soon.
