I went to the dentist today & i was wondering if the anesthesia can affect the sperm or trying to conceive i had sex last night on my ovulation day.

No: Not really. I'd be more concerned with exposure to excessive x rays. It also matters what kind of anesthesia you had. Remember, women have been getting all kinds of medical procedures before they knew they were pregnant and the vast majority have no problems.
