No: Generally speaking Bronchitis is not a life threatening condition unless associated with other illnesses (Cancer,HIV, COPD, Congestive heart failure and so on). At your age I anticipate you will recover from bronchitis without complications. Depending on the type of work that you do, you may go to work when symptoms are improving or have completely resolved.

Bronchitis: Bronchitis is an infection in your lungs. It can be from a bacteria or virus. In a young non smoker you should be able with good treatment to recover within 7-10 days. You should wait until you are feeling better until you return to work. feel better
