What happens if my blood type is o positive and my boyfriend is o negative what should our son's blood type be?

Depends: his blood type can be O positive or O negative. There are 2 genes for RH factor. You can either have 2 genes for positive or one. So if you passed the RH positive gene to your son, then he is positive, it not then he is negatve.
