See MD: Irregularly irregular heart rate can be due to atrial fibrillation, an unstable rhythm that needs to be treated. Other rhythm disturbances may occur as well. Caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, stimulant drugs, other meds, lack of sleep, dehydration, other factors may cause or aggravate. See MD
