Can you tell me if it's good to drink a diet tea that contains a laxative if i'm constipated?

"Cathartic colon": Laxative teas typically contain an "irritant" agent that can make your colon "floppy" & result in dependency--the more irritant laxative you use the more dependent you become on it. There is often a risk as well of melanosis coli--pigmenting of the colon lining. Examine your reasons for drinking this brew--stop it if just to lose weight; see a doctor if you have a real problem with constipation.
